![]() I reccommend using it for a decent amount of time before making the decision to upgrade. There are multiple options to upgrade to a paying service if you have a business and have more needs, but the free version is so versatile that I think most people would be more than satisfied with it. All of my content is in the same app, making it easy to access or search through in a rush but still seperated enough that it is very organised. Being a student, this is a very important point for me. Furthermore, I can also access them online through a browser if I am using another device - and I do all of that FOR FREE. It is compatible with my macbook, ipad and iPhone which means I can easily access my notes at any time - including offline. I use this to take lecture notes, although it’s pretty good when planning events and you need to pull resources from multiple media or make lists. I love that I can organise notes into “notebooks” which I can then group. I have been using Evernote for a pretty long time now (since 2014) and I would not change it for any other app. The inconsistencies make me nervous.įinger crossed that this product continues, my whole life for the past 8 years is in there. I would feel more comfortable if there was some tranparency around the longer term strategy around the product and also if I could subscribe easily via iTunes, I probably would. That said, I've spent the past 6 months sampling other notetaking/record keeping apps and I just can't find on as fully featured as Evernote. I feel much safer to purchase things via the App Store and yet, I can't seem to.Īlso lot of support links are broken and the help files are not as helpful as they used to be. When it comes to sharing my data directly with an app provider, I tend to opt out. There are details in the app stores stating that subscriptions are charged through iTunes but I can't find a link to any in-app purchases. Although that seems to no longer exist, I still look for my details to find I have an unpaid account now. I tried a few times to check on which subscription I had etc becuase I also took advantage of the Moleskine collaoration which provided some subscription credit. For example, I used to have a paid account. Lately, some inconsistencies have really put me off. It was the best option available at the time I started using it. I use it for personal record keeping and work notes. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase. Subscriptions may not be cancelled for refund except as provided in Evernote's Commercial Terms. Where applicable, your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account.
